By Serve, we mean God calls us to help others in the body of Christ. God has gifted you uniquely in terms of your time, talent, treasure & touch to meet the needs of others in the body of Christ. Jesus is our ultimate example of this in that, even as the King of kings, He chose to serve rather than be served.
How to Serve: Simply choose to serve, and choose to do it with humility and openness. Serving happens all over the pace. Wherever God has placed you, and whatever specific skills and experiences He has built into you, there is a place for you to put them into action, assisting and encouraging fellow members of Christ's body. In stepping out to serve, we transform the world into a better place for everyone, we grow ourselves and we often help others to grow as well. If you are not sure where you might serve, please ask. Sometimes it takes a team to find the right fit. Are you ready to follow Jesus' example, and serve?
